  • Patent number: 9731005
Abstract: A pharmaceutical composition for its use in the prophylactic treatment of a patient against an intracellular pathogen, said composition comprising a solid nanoparticle comprising a porous cationic-polysaccharide solid core, loaded with at least an anionic phospholipid, without said cationic-polysaccharide core being surrounded by any phospholipidic layer, and at least an antigen obtained from said pathogen.

  • Patent number: 9427719
Abstract: A method is provided for encapsulating products that can have lipophilic or hydrophilic, including volatile, properties in a polysiloxane membrane that is particularly impervious. A method is also provided for evaluating the imperviousness of capsules. The present method includes the following steps: a) formation of droplets by an emulsion between an oily phase containing the product to be encapsulated and an acidic aqueous phase heated to around 50° C. and in the presence of surfactants; b) addition and hydrolysis of at least one silane in order to obtain a silanol; c) increasing the pH in order to start condensation of the silanol to form a first membrane around the droplets of the product to be encapsulated; d) lowering the pH; e) increasing the pH, optionally preceded by adding a silane, in order to obtain a new condensation of silanol around the droplets of the product to be encapsulated.

  • Publication number: 20130116568
Abstract: A method is provided for generating ultrasounds in a given fluid by using at least one micro-machined capacitive transducer having a membrane and exhibiting a predetermined resonant frequency defined by the membrane-fluid pair, the at least one transducer is fed with an excitation signal of lower frequency than the resonant frequency. A device is provided for generating ultrasounds implementing CMUTs, as well as a method and system for medical imaging.

  • Patent number: 4823804
Abstract: An apparatus for monitoring the activity level of an organ of the human body. The apparatus processes digital values recorded in the memory of a processor. These digital values correspond to the analog values of a differential signal supplied after amplification and filtration of activity signals supplied by sensors. The memory contains a program for processing the digital values by sampling during each period of a succession of periods shifted by a predetermined time interval. The program controls the calculation of the Fourier transform of these values during each period. The frequency spectrum of the input signal is obtained during each interval. During each interval the processor detects the peak of the spectrum relative to the organ to be studied, as well as the amplitude maximum of that peak. The processor supplies a signal representing the evolution of the maxima of the peaks for all the time intervals. This signal is characteristic of the activity level of the organ to be studied.
