  • Publication number: 20140110681
Abstract: A transparent emissive device is provided. The device may include one or more OLEDs having an anode, a cathode, and an organic emissive layer disposed between the anode and the cathode. In some configurations, the OLEDs may be non-transparent. The device may also include one or more locally transparent regions, which, in combination with the non-transparent OLEDs, provides an overall device transparency of 5% or more.

  • Patent number: 6982179
Abstract: A method of fabricating an organic light emitting device is provided. A first organic layer is deposited over a first electrode. A second organic layer comprising a small molecule organic material is then deposited using solution processing over and in physical contact with the first organic layer, such that the first organic layer is insoluble in the solution used to deposit the second organic layer. A second electrode is then deposited over the second organic layer.
