Abstract: An apparatus and method for imaging a shear modulus within a body is disclosed. A method for imaging a shear modulus in accordance with the present invention includes generating an elastic wave inside an object to be measured; detecting the elastic wave ongoing inside the object to be measured; calculating a shear modulus of the inside of the object to be measured, based on a value obtained by differentiating the detected elastic wave one time; and imaging the inside of the object to be measured, based on the calculated shear modulus.

Abstract: A method and device for delivering multimedia data using IETF QoS protocols. MPEG media data can be transmitted in packet units through a network using the IETF QoS protocol by mapping MPEG media traffic factors onto IETF QoS traffic factors. By encoding or transcoding MPEG media traffic according to a double leaky bucket model indicated by the four factors, a maximum bit rate, a first buffer size, a guaranteed bit rate, and a second buffer size, the MPEG media traffic factors may be transmitted using the IETF QoS protocol without having to go through the process of being mapped onto QoS traffic factors.

Abstract: A system for electrical impedance tomography and method thereof are disclosed, by which electrical characteristics within a measurement target can be precisely detected. The present invention includes the steps of injection a current to a measurement target via at least one electrode pair selected form a plurality of electrodes (250) attached to the measurement target, detecting voltage of a surface of the measurement target using a plurality of voltmeters (260) connected to the electrodes that are not selected, respectively, adjusting gains of the voltmeters according to maximum values of the detected voltages, respectively, amplifying the detected voltages using the gain-adjusted voltmeters, respectively, and imaging an internal part of the measurement target based on the amplified voltages.
