    Abstract: A method to detect biological molecules in a sample which is an immuno polymerase chain reaction assay which comprises the detection of a complex which includes a ligand: nucleic acid conjugate bound to at least one biological molecule. The complex is detected by the addition of a second nucleic acid molecule which is adapted to anneal to the nucleic acid of the conjugate.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to the use of a first agent that attenuates Topoisomerase I (Topo I) activity and a second agent that inhibits Heat Shock Protein 90 (HSP90) for use in chemotherapy. The agents are particularly useful in the treatment of cancer and destruction of micro-organisms. The invention also relates to screening methods, diagnostic methods and methods for evaluating or monitoring chemotherapy regimens.
