Abstract: Anthurium species are important ornamental crops that are susceptible to infection by Xanthomonas campestris pv. Dieffenbachiae. Methods of identifying target plants that are resistant to or tolerant of Xanthomonas infection are described. Methods of predicting vase-life performance are also disclosed.
