Abstract: Traditional key generation methods in a noisy network often assume trusted devices and are thus vulnerable to many attacks including covert channels. The present invention differs from previous key generation schemes in that it presents a mechanism which allows secure key generation with untrusted devices in a noisy network with a prescribed access structure.

  • Publication number: 20170093722
Abstract: Systems and methods for optimizing network traffic are disclosed. In one embodiment, a system for optimizing the performance of a plurality of networks includes a first terminal device, a traffic steering controller, and a terminal traffic steering agent. The traffic steering controller may be configured to receive user profiles and network performance metrics and create traffic steering rules based on the user profiles and network metrics. The terminal traffic steering agent may be configured to receive traffic steering rules from the traffic steering controller and direct a virtual network switch based on the traffic steering rules. The virtual network switch may be configured to receive network traffic at a virtual network interface and, based on directions received from the traffic steering controller, forward the network traffic to a physical interface of at least one of the plurality of networks.

  • Publication number: 20100310132
Abstract: Procedure for verifying the integrity of documents which comprises a characterization of the original document to obtain a hash (508) and a stage of integrity verification, this stage comprising in turn, representing (601) the digital document to be verified in a matrix format; adapting (602) said document to a determined resolution in the characterization and correcting (603) the inclination, obtaining a corrected image (604); obtaining (605), the displacement produced between the contents in the original document and the document to be verified; obtaining (610) optimal displacement to coordinates for each one of the regions of the corrected image; obtaining (611) one metric from the quantified coefficients of the corrected image and the corresponding ones in the original document; deciding (612) on the integrity of each region of the digitalized document using the previous metrics; and finally deciding (613) on the integrity of the document based on the results of the previous step.
