Abstract: A method for quantifying an amount of fat contained in a liver or other tissue of a subject in vivo includes varying the temperature of a target area in a subject, imaging thermal strain of the target area using an ultrasound scanner, and quantifying the amount of fat in the targeted area based on the thermal strain imaging. In some embodiments, the thermal strain imaging is performed using high-resolution, phase-sensitive speckle tracking to differentiate between fat-based tissue and water-based tissue.

The system applies machine learning processing to output the load cell measurements as a three-dimensional ground reaction force on the plate by a subject.

Abstract: A power divider includes an input capacitor, and first and second transmission lines (TLs). The first TL includes an input portion (IP), a transmission portion (TP) and an output portion (OP). The second TL includes a TP and an OP. Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition for preventing, improving or treating muscle atrophy, which includes Gryllus bimaculatus, and more particularly, a Gryllus bimaculatus powder or Gryllus bimaculatus protein extract, as an active ingredient, and a method of preparing the same. The composition according to the present invention is effective in inhibiting the expression of muscle atrophy-associated key transcription factors, such as FoxO3 and MuRF-1, and is expected to be effectively used in muscle atrophy, various diseases caused thereby, muscle aging, undernourished patients, growing children and the elderly.
