Abstract: An apparatus and method for providing IPTV broadcasting contents information is provided. The apparatus and method is capable of easily providing a user terminal with related information that is associated with IPTV broadcasting content contents. The apparatus includes a content generator configured to generate an IPTV broadcasting content by use of a broadcasting content and a Quick Response (QR) code including related information that is associated with the broadcasting content, and a transmitter configured to transmit the IPTV broadcasting content.
