Patents Assigned to URACA Pumpenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG
  • Patent number: 5018949
Abstract: The pump has several cylinders which are arranged in a row narrowly adjacent to one another and which accommodate the stroke working spaces of plungers or pistons. The stroke work of the pistons is hydraulically transmitted to diaphragms which close off pump working spaces inside of diaphragm working spaces in the direction of the cylinders. Because of the arrangement of the diaphragm working spaces or of the pump working spaces on different sides of the cylinder block, diaphragms or diaphragm working spaces may be arranged which have cross-sections that are large in comparison to the distance of the cylinders from one another.

  • Patent number: 4616983
Abstract: A pumped medium supplied to a suction chamber of the pump is first introduced under the action of the plunger into a working chamber of the plunger and then into a pressure chamber and a subsequent pressure line. The seats of a suction valve and of a discharge valve are arranged on a housing of a central valve, which can be inserted into a cylinder head through an opening formed in a cylinder head which can be closed by means of a base part. A piston-like element which is provided with intermediate seals between the base part and the central valve housing serves to secure the position of the central valve housing. The piston-like element is acted on at both its end faces, due to the provision of spacing chambers, by the pressure of the pumped medium in the pressure chamber. The seals are wedge-shaped so that they are increasingly urged radially outwardly against the cylinder head under axial loading.

  • Patent number: 4574825
Abstract: Tank cleaning apparatus is disclosed for cleaning the inside of large railroad car tanks and the like. A sprayhead carrying one or more spray nozzles is mounted on a holding bar which includes a C-shaped semi-circular section and which is mounted on a carrier frame at the outside of the tank for pivotal movement about an axle through the center of curvature of the C-shaped section. The sprayhead is mounted at an end part of the holding bar which extends radially outwardly with respect to the C-shaped section in such a manner that in one end position of the holding bar the sprayhead means is aligned with the center axis of a tank manhole opening and that in the other end position is disposed adjacent the inside end surface of the tank being cleaned. The carrier frame is rotatably mounted at the manhole to accommodate rotation for cleaning respective opposite ends of the tank.

  • Patent number: 4566370
Abstract: A piston pump arrangement is provided which includes a drivable crank shaft supported in a crank drive housing for rotational movement. The crank shaft is drivingly connected to horizontally disposed axially reciprocating pump pistons. In order to facilitate driving of the crank shaft from either the right side or the left side to accommodate the available space requirements and driving motor connections, the crank drive housing is provided with fastening support surfaces arranged symmetrically with respect to a plane through the axis of the crank shaft and the axes of the pump pistons. To accommodate attachment of auxiliary aggregates, such as lubricating/cooling circuit mechanisms, fastening points for such aggregates are also arranged symmetrically with respect to the plane of the crank shaft axis and the pump pistons.

  • Patent number: 4527957
Abstract: A piston pump has suction and pressure valves, a valve through-chamber extending between the valves, a working chamber with a piston reciprocal therein, and a force-transmitting chamber communicating with the working chamber and accommodating a force-transmitting medium, wherein the valve through-chamber and the force-transmitting chamber are formed as parts of a common chamber and located adjacent to one another.
