    Abstract: A light fixture having an upper and lower housing, and a mounting bracket adapted to mount to a junction box. The light fixture has a relatively short mounting bracket for surface mount configurations, and a relatively long mounting bracket for recess mount configurations, and a difference in the height of the long and short mounting brackets is equal to the height of the junction box. In the surface-mount and recess-mount configurations a circumferential edge of the upper housing abuts the mounting surface so the lighting fixture has the same external appearance and size in both configurations. The light fixture also has a pendant mode wherein the upper housing is suspended from the junction box by an elongated support. An enclosure for the junction box has a plurality of cut-outs and covers to accommodate various configurations of surface mounted conduit.

    Abstract: A system for controlling LED light fixtures such that in the event of a loss of the lighting control signal the LED light fixtures may be controlled in a proper and predictable manner. The system includes a Digital Power Module (DPM) that receives the lighting control signal and transmits a control signal to a Fixture Control Module (FCM) connected to the LED lights. In the event the lighting control signal is not received by the DPM, it is adapted to send a backup control signal to the FCM to control the LEDs. Additionally, in the event the DPM fails to send a control signal to the FCM, the FCM is adapted to control the LEDs is a predefined manner such that the LEDs are always functional even with a loss of the input control signal.

In a second mode, the lighting control output signal is based on dimming and color lighting control input signals provided to two analog inputs. In a third mode, the lighting output control signal is based on a digital lighting control input signal provided to a digital input. In a fourth mode, the control module determines a selected lighting scene based on a scene selection input signal provided to an analog input, and the lighting output signal is based on the selected lighting scene.

The base of the housing has an illumination aperture disposed therein. In the operation position, the heat sink is vertically aligned with the illumination aperture. In the service position, the heat sink is horizontally displaced from vertical alignment with the illumination aperture. When the heat sink is in the service position, the interior of the junction box is accessible through the illumination aperture, allowing the user to remove the lighting driver and other electrical components from the junction box for maintenance.
