Abstract: An instrumented structure is combined with real time environmental and weather information. The data from the structure is monitored via the Internet or another communications system. That information together with historical, analytical and the other relevant data in environmental events influencing the infrastructure are used to determine thresholds. When a threshold is passed the system automatically notifies a user who can then remotely access the real time events and measurements. The user can have real time relevant information to react to any emergency.
