    Abstract: The apparatus comprises, between each pair of upper and lower bearing blocks, a shim or strut which provides a support for two bearing blocks on one another. Each of the upper bearing blocks is extended, in an upper portion and toward an inside of said apparatus, by a cantilevered portion subjected to action, in a downward direction, of a pressure exerting vertical jack mounted in an upper portion of said apparatus. A vertical and transverse plane containing a central axis of each pressure exerting vertical jack is situated between a vertical and transverse plane in which is situated a shim or strut placed between the bearing blocks and a vertical and transverse plane of raceways for an upper cutting cylinder and a lower cutting cylinder.

    Abstract: The apparatus comprises a frame supporting an upper cutting cylinder and a lower cutting cylinder placed between two parallel and vertical uprights. A removable cassette is made of two pairs of blocks vertically slidable in two rectangular apertures and formed into the upper horizontal faces of the two uprights. Two opposite coaxial spindles of the upper cutting cylinder are rotatively mounted in the two opposite upper sliding blocks. Two opposite coaxial spindle of the lower cutting cylinder are rotatively mounted in the two opposite lower sliding blocks. On each side of the removable cassette, the upper and lower sliding blocks are connected together by a resilient coupling device.

    Abstract: Two plate cylinders have horizontal and transverse axes placed respectively on either side of a vertical plane passing by axes of a touching cylinder and a blanket cylinder. A support is mounted between the touching cylinder and the blanking cylinder and is provided for the two plate cylinders, being tiltably mounted about the axis of the blanket cylinder. Two starting cylinders have horizontal and transverse axes disposed respectively slightly below and outside with respect to each plate cylinder. Control means control a tilting motion of the support of the plate cylinders for setting under pressure each of the plate cylinders and for rotatively driving the starting cylinders.
