  • Patent number: 9847003
Abstract: The present invention provides an improved cable that includes at least one insulated conductor insulated from and within and inside a insulated second conductor, with both conductors connected with both ends with a cable alarm tag to form a closed electrical circuit, with the loop of the cable connected to an article for securing the article. With the cable of the present invention, if severed, the use of jumper cables will maintain the electrical circuit loop closed for the outer conductor only, but not the insulated inner conductor that is within and inside the outer conductor. Therefore, when severing the cable to disconnect and discontinue the physical loop to remove the secured article, even if cable jumpers are used, the insulated inner conductor will remain open circuited when the cable is cut, resulting in trigger of the alarm.

  • Patent number: 9805568
Abstract: An alarm tag comprising a first input unit for generating signals for setting (to ON) or resetting (to OFF) an alarm system of the alarm tag. The alarm tag further includes a second input unit for generating signals for arming the alarm tag and triggering an alarm, and an independent auxiliary input unit that generates independent signals that arm the alarm tag and trigger an alarm. When both the second and the auxiliary input units generate a first signal, the alarm system of the alarm tag is armed and set to ON, and when any of the second and third auxiliary input units generate a second signal while the alarm tag is armed and ON, the alarm system of the alarm tag triggers an alarm, thereby preventing tampering and bypassing of one of the second and auxiliary input units to disarm the alarm.

  • Patent number: 8952816
Abstract: An EAS system alarm tag is provided with two or more straps that enable secure and reliable simultaneous engagement of the tag with one or more articles that are detachably coupled at an angle. An interlock actuator switch enables the two or more straps to interlock within a housing of the alarm tag. An auxiliary actuator switch enables detection of separation of the alarm tag from one or more articles with which the alarm tag is coupled. When both the interlock actuator switch and the auxiliary actuator switch are set to a first condition, an alarm system of the alarm tag is armed and set to ON; and when the interlock actuator switch is set to the first condition and the auxiliary actuator switch is set to a second condition while the alarm tag is armed and ON, the alarm system of the alarm tag triggers an alarm.
