  • Patent number: 11761692
Abstract: A refrigeration system comprising an evaporator, and a method of operating a refrigeration system. The evaporator comprises: a first fluid volume upstream of a second fluid volume, and a plurality of channels fluidly connecting the first fluid volume and the second fluid volume. The system further comprises a flow restrictor arranged to prevent fluid flow through at least a first channel of the plurality of channels in response to a pressure difference between the first fluid volume and the second fluid volume being less than a predetermined threshold, and to permit fluid flow through the first channel in response to the pressure difference being greater than the predetermined threshold.

  • Patent number: 11295587
Abstract: A method of calibrating a sensor (200) for a security system, the method comprising: switching the sensor (200) to a zone calibration mode for configuring the sensor (200) to operate with a detection zone; detecting a moveable object (202) moving along a border of the detection zone, wherein the sensor (200) detects the position of the moveable object (202) as the moveable object (202) moves along the border of the detection zone; calculating zone calibration data for the detection zone based on the detected positions of the moveable object (202); and configuring the sensor (200) to operate using the calculated zone calibration data.

  • Patent number: 10769936
Abstract: A sensor data transmission system includes a central processor, first and second sensor assemblies, and first and second conductors. The sensor assemblies each include a sensor, a processor and a relay. The sensor is configured to detect a condition. The processor is configured to receive a condition detected signal from the sensor and open the respective relay at least once indicative of the condition and within a pre-determined time interval. The first conductor is electrically in contact with the processors of the first and second sensor assemblies and is interposed by the relay of the second sensor assembly. The second conductor is electrically in contact with the central processor and the processor of the first sensor assembly and is interposed by the relay of the first sensor assembly.
