Abstract: For a pair of goggles, in particular protective goggles for worker, it is provided for the exchangeable fixing of the sight pieces, which however meets also the working protection conditions, that the sight pieces are fixed each laterally at undercuts of the frame and are fixed in the vicinity of the nose rib by pushing on a holder. The holder embraces the nose rib region in a flat manner and is lockable at the upper side of the frame, so that an inadvertent releasing of the sight pieces is prevented.

Abstract: UV hardenable lacquer, in particular for molded polycarbonate (PC) bodies, comprising:(A) 5 to 60%, referring to the total weight of 100% of the entire mixture, of an aliphatic polyurethane acrylate, preferably 5 to 20% of a hexa-functional PU acrylate;(B) 30 to 45%, referring to the total weight of 100% of the entire mixture, of a cross-linkable, polyfunctional acrylate having less than 20 C atoms in the molecule;(C) 0.01 to 3%, referring to the total weight of 100% of the entire mixture, of a cross-linkable polyfunctional silicon acrylate;(D) if required, between 1 and 5%, referring to the total weight of 100% of the entire mixture, of a monofunctional, ethylenically unsaturated compound such as N-vinyl pyrrolidone;(E) 0 to 70% referring to the total weight of 100% of the entire mixture, of organic solvents;(F) photo initiators; and(G) light protector.

Abstract: A pair of glasses with inclinable temples, each temple being articulated pivotally around a swivel bearing on a holder connected to the frame, is designed such that the holder has an approximately plate-like basic body, that a recess open to the inside and backwards is provided in the holder, that a plate-like appendage is integrally provided at the front end of the temple, locking ribs being arranged adjacent to a radial outer edge of this appendage and engaging with corresponding locking ribs adjacent to an inner edge of the recess of the holder, and that a swivel bearing bolt passes through the appendage of the temple and the holder adjacent to its recess, thus achieving an inclination adjustment both technically satisfying and functional, on the one hand, and, on the other hand, an esthetically attractive and fashionable styling.

Abstract: Protective goggles against laser radiation comprises a frame, particularly of plastic and containing protective lenses, its inside being at least partially covered with a shielding layer made from another material for attaining a large degree of protection, the shielding layer being formed of a flexible graphite material.

Abstract: The invention is directed to protective goggles having a lens through which the wearer sees and a frame, receiving the lens, of elastically deformable material and having securing devices for a fastening strap disposed on the outsides of the frame. To attain advantageous ventilation of the interior of the goggles and to enable manufacture and assembly at a favorable cost, the securing devices can be joined in a form-fitting manner to the frame and have vent openings for ventilating the interior of the goggles. In particular, the securing devices can be snapped into recesses in the frame, and vent openings formed in the securing devices can be selectively opened or closed by means of a covering plate that is attached by screwing.

Abstract: Safety goggles, particularly useful as work goggles, having temples disposed on and inclinable relative to a frame having lenses and side guards. In accordance with the invention, a protrusion which serves as a swivel bearing is mounted on each of the opposite side guards, and a swivel bearing appendage having a recess therein is adapted to be pressed onto the protrusion. The temple is hingedly connected to the swivel bearing appendage, whereby to permit pivotal movement of the temple relative to the swivel bearing appendage and thus to the goggle frame. The swivel bearing appendage is inherently elastic, permitting a portion of the swivel bearing appendage to grip the back surface of the side guard. A holder appendage portion of the temple may also grip the back surface of the side guard.

Abstract: A visor for a protective helmet, the visor comprising at least one transparent panel and a frame which receives substantially the entire periphery of the panel in a groove, recess, or the like carried by the frame in a manner which permits rapid changing of the transparent panel. The frame comprises at least two frame parts pivotably connected with one another. In a closed position of the frame, these frame parts can be firmly connected to one another, while in a pivoted position of at least one frame part, the transparent panel can be removed from the groove recess, or the like.

Abstract: A protective device for protecting the face of a user includes a face shield made of flexible, shatterproof plastic and a guard pivotably mounted on the shield and at least partially covering it. The guard is made of scratch-resistant glass. The guard may be mounted over a cutout or opening in the shield and can be pivoted away.
