Abstract: An arrangement (1) for measuring current on a high voltage battery (12) for an electrical vehicle, wherein the battery comprises a service disconnect switch (13) which is adapted to break the connection between the positive battery terminal (14) and the positive battery output terminals (15). The connection between the positive battery terminal (14) and the positive battery output terminals (15) comprises an external circuit line (21) extending out of the service disconnect switch (13) such that a loop is created, which is adapted to receive a current clamp for measuring the current through the circuit line (21).
