Abstract: A locking device including both a mechanical lock operable with a key and an electrical lock, operable from the same key. The device includes an electrical circuit for operating the electrical lock. The electrical circuit has a microprocessor and memory which stores the identity of keys authorized to open both the mechanical lock and electrical lock. A master key is provided which includes at one end a connector which engages a connector within the mechanical lock when inserted. Information is read from the master key, identifying a set of keys which are authorized to open the lock. Whenever a key from the set of authorized keys is inserted in the lock, an identification number is read through a contact member from a memory associated with the key, and an electrical signal is generated by the electric circuit of the lock to operate the electrical lock.

Abstract: The housing comprises an actuating lever (8) articulated about a transversal spindle (13), and a mechanism (16), controlled by the lever, capable of driving, in opposite direction, two rods (17, 18); each rod is provided, at its end farthest away from the housing, with a bolt, in order to bring about a locking at an upper point and a lower point, respectively. The actuating lever (8) comprises a unilateral thrust organ (19) capable of co-operating with one or two complementary abutments (21, 22) provided for on a driving organ (23) of the mechanism (16), whereby the lever (8) may be tilted from one position into another, to co-operate with the appropriate complementary abutment (21, 22), in order to selectively allow the fitting onto a "right-hand" or "left-hand" door.

Abstract: The antipanic lock comprises at least a bolt and an actuating rod pivotingly connected to a door by a unit formed by at least two housings fixed onto the door and two levers (2) integral, towards their one end, with the actuating rod and pivotingly mounted, at their other end, into an associated housing (4); said lock comprises a torsion spring (10), in a first dihedron corresponding to a first direction of opening of the door, the actuating rod and the levers (2) towards a neutral position, one of the levers being a control lever co-operating with members in order to actuate the bolt.

Abstract: Safety-drum antipanic lock comprising a bolt (3, 103), an actuating rod pivotingly connected to the door, at each of its ends, by means of a unit formed by a housing (1, 101) fixed onto said door and a lever (2, 102) pivotingly mounted, in said housing (1, 101), at least one lever (2, 102) being an actuating lever cooperating with components of its housing (1, 101) to actuate the bolt (3, 103). The housing (1, 101) of the actuating lever (2, 102) is associated with at least a safety-drum (19, 20; 120) driving a bit (21, 23; 151) co-operating with actuating means for said housing to actuate the bolt (3, 103). Said housing (1, 101) of the actuating lever (2, 102) comprises at least two different operating means (14, 15a, 15b; 114) capable of separately co-operating each with a drum (19, 20; 120) to actuate said bolt (3, 103).

Abstract: The lock (S), intended in particular for an automobile door, includes a rotary bolt (1) intended for cooperation with a keeper (2), and includes motive means arranged to assist at least the closure, as well as manual control means enabling the assurance of the opening and closure of the assisting motive means; it includes a transmission device (T) of the freewheel type (17), mounted in a recess (18) of the bolt (1) and arranged to communicate to the bolt a rotational movement originating in the assist means for the direction that corresponds to the closure of the lock (S); anti-lock means are arranged to be actuated by the manual control means, with a view to preventing the normal action of locking the freewheel (17), and uncoupling the bolt from the assist means in the event of failure of these means.

Abstract: A closing valve for interlocking a movable element and a fixed element so that both elements can be disengaged. One of the elements has a latch, while the other element has a striker which is capable of operating with the latch in order to ensure interlocking of the two elements. Either the latch or the striker is associated with a motor system for controlling the interlocking and/or the disengagement of the two elements when the clasp has been manually engaged with the latch. At an approach stage, the element which is associated with the motor can be disconnected by way of a disengaging mechanism which is triggered when the resistance for closing becomes greater than a preset level. At a final stage, the disengaging mechanism is inhibited. This invention can be used, for example, for electrically closing an automobile trunk.

Abstract: A key comprises a key body provided with at least one translatably movable plunger able to be displaced in a housing provided in the key, the plunger being intended to co-operate with a positioning member provided in the recess of a rotor so as to project from its recess and to push a movable pin of the rotor into a position permitting rotation of the barrel rotor relative to the stator. The key comprises in its head a constricted zone, and the recess of the movable plunger is provided in this constricted zone.
