Patents Assigned to Valaurum, Inc.
  • Patent number: 12618135
Abstract: A precious metallic laminate may include a first transparent substrate, a transparent transition layer deposited on the first transparent substrate, and a metallic layer deposited on the transparent transition layer. The metallic layer may include a precious metal. The laminate may include a second transparent substrate covering the metallic layer.

  • Patent number: 12503774
Abstract: A metallic sheet with deposited structured images and method for manufacture (MSDIMM) that includes a substrate, at least one structural feature, and a metal layer. The structural feature is at least one cavity on the substrate's upper surface, or at least one material object that extends outward from the substrate's upper surface. The metal layer is deposited, either by sputtering or at˜rnic deposition, onto the substrate's upper surface, and, as the metal layer is deposited, the metal layer interfaces with and follows the dimensions of the structural feature(s), thereby creating a visible image at the location(s) of the structural feature(s). The visible image can be any image, and is preferably either an artistic image, a textual image, or an authentication image. The MDSIMM can be used for a variety of purposes, and is especially effective as a form of exonurnia or currency.

  • Publication number: 20250010651
Abstract: A security note may include a first transparent substrate having an area that defines boundaries of the security note. The note may include a first base layer deposited on the first transparent substrate. The note may include a second base layer deposited on the first base layer. The note may include a second transparent substrate formed on the second base layer. One or more security features may be provided between the first base layer and the second base layer. One or both of the first base layer and the second base layer may define an opening within the area of the first transparent surface such that at least one of the one or more security features is visible via the opening.
