Abstract: A device, system, and method for determining a user's proximity within a predefined radius. A mobile electronic device with location software thereon can record and analyze ambient noise to determine after initiated the user's estimated locations as well as to track the user's movements throughout a predefined radius. The mobile locate software may present information to the user according to the user's position within the radius of the area. The type and nature of the information presented to the user can be changed according to the user's distance from emergency services as well as how quickly the user is approaches the safe zones. The software may provide detailed data about the movement of the user and additional users of the software that are within the determined radius. This information may be correlated with local, state and federal officials in the determination of the initial incident.
Abstract: An emergency call station provides emergency communication services for a user to contact an emergency responder. The call station includes an integrated IP video camera, an integrated security console, and at least one processor configured to provide network supervision status monitoring and notification, status message escalations, logging voice and video, text-to-speech conversion, multilevel forwarding, remote management of endpoints, pre-recorded messages, InformaCast® Compatibility; and mass emergency notification to multiple responders.

Abstract: A light weight fully assembled speaker enclosure is provided that includes a backbox having a peripheral edge; a grill that is crimped around the peripheral edge of the backbox, and a sound-baffle sheet disposed between the backbox and the grill, the sound-baffle sheet having an opening for placement of a speaker. Also provided is a speaker system having an audio speaker; a backbox having a peripheral edge; a grill that is crimped around the peripheral edge of the backbox and that is affixed to the speaker; and a sound-baffle sheet disposed between the backbox and the grill, the sound-baffle sheet having an opening for placement of the speaker.
Abstract: A housing for electronic apparatus, including an enclosure for housing power supply and amplifier circuits that are common to a number of different functional devices. A replaceable, hinged, modular front panel is provided and carries a control circuit on its inner face and switches, indicators, and control knobs on its outer face. Several front panels can be provided having different control circuits for connection with the power and amplifier circuits in the enclosure to thereby change the function of the device or the types of outputs and control functions that it can provide. The front panel is pivotable relative to the enclosure to permit quick and easy access to the interior of the enclosure for inspection and servicing, as well as ready accessibility to the control circuit that is mounted on the control panel. A metallic channel extends from the back panel to the control panel to provide a shielded wireway for input conductors connected with the control circuit.
