Publication number: 20250121628Abstract: A vent plug having a main vent aperture that extends from an inner side into the plug and connects to a transverse vent passage that intersects the main vent aperture. The main vent aperture and the transverse vent passage are connected to provide a continuous path for fluid communication. The main vent aperture includes a conical surface that is tapered to be narrower nearer the inner side of the vent plug. A poppet is located within the main vent passage and the poppet has a stem that extends from a distal portion of the poppet. The stem has a shoulder that is opposite the distal portion. The distal portion is adjacent to the conical portion of the main vent aperture. The distal portion has an annular recess for receiving a seal. The poppet is movable between an open and closed position.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 15, 2024Publication date: April 17, 2025Applicant: VALCRUM, LLCInventor: Mario T. Robles

Patent number: 11820341Abstract: A system for electrically controlling air brakes on a trailer having an electrically actuated valve for releasing pressurized air at a controlled rate. The trailer is connectable to a standard electrical connector on a towing vehicle that provides a proportional braking signal. The proportional signal is sent to a controller that actuates the electrically actuated valve. When the controller receives the proportional braking signal from the towing vehicle representing no braking force, the controller actuates the electrically actuated valve to produce no air pressure to the air brake. When the controller receives the proportional braking signal from the towing vehicle representing full braking force, the controller actuates the electrically actuated valve to provide air to the air brake corresponding to full braking force of the air brakes.Type: GrantFiled: September 29, 2021Date of Patent: November 21, 2023Assignee: VALCRUM, LLCInventor: Alton L. Publication number: 20230271447Abstract: A hub mounted grease cap having a sleeve with an inner end and an outer end. The outer end has an outer end surface that is opposite the inner end. The sleeve encloses a bore that extends through the sleeve. The inner end has an outer diameter that may be a press fit or threaded connection to a hub into which it is installed. An end plug has an end wall and an aperture through the end wall. There is a shaft that extends through the aperture in the end wall of the end plug. A wedge block is connected to the shaft. A seal has a portion that is located between the end wall of the end plug and the wedge block. The seal expands radially outward against the bore of the sleeve when the wedge block is drawn toward the end wall.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 23, 2023Publication date: August 31, 2023Applicant: Valcrum LLCInventor: Mario T.
