Patents Assigned to Valeo Climate Control, Inc.
  • Patent number: 6598665
Abstract: A system for supplying air to first and second regions of a vehicle passenger compartment, has a first fan, a heater device, and first and second air conduits. The heater device has a first air inlet and outlet for air from the first fan and a second air inlet and outlet for recirculating air within the passenger compartment. The first and second outlets of the heater device supply air through the first and second air conduits to the first and second regions of the said vehicle. The second air conduit is connected to said second air outlet of said heater device via a second fan operable in use to selectively supply air through the second conduit to the second region of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 6278083
Abstract: A lateral heating or air conditioning unit has an electric heating device downstream of the heater core, spaced from it and in the mouth of the hot passage. Separate blend doors are disposed in each of the hot and cold passages. The electric heater device is flush with the opening of the hot air passageway into the mixing chamber so as to prevent air flow disturbances.

  • Patent number: 6139273
Abstract: A radial flow fan wheel has a longitudinal axis and consists of an annular member and a plurality of first and second blade members. The first and second blade members depend from the annular member substantially parallel to the axis of the first blade members being disposed on a first pitch circle and the second blade member being disposed on a second pitch circle which has a radius less than a radius of the first pitch circle.

  • Patent number: 5647399
Abstract: A flow control device including first and second flow control members, first and second actuators, and first and second transmission devices wherein both flow control members are adapted for rotation about a common axis. The first flow control member has a wall portion which defines an aperture aligned with the common axis. The second transmission device includes a shaft member which passes through the aperture for rotation therein. A first end of the shaft member is coupled to the second actuator and a second end of the shaft member is coupled to the second flow control member. The first transmission device includes a first rotary body coupled to the first flow control member and rotatable about the common axis and a second rotary body coupled to the first actuator and rotatable about a second axis offset from the common axis. The first and second rotary bodies are engagable by a mechanism such that rotation of the first rotary body causes rotation of the second rotary body.
