    Abstract: An elastic return device including a gasket and a clutch mechanism whose actuating system includes a control chamber designed to receive a pressurized fluid, a piston which is axially movable in the control chamber so as to engage or disengage the corresponding clutch, a balancing chamber situated opposite the control chamber in relation to the piston, and an elastic return device housed in the balancing chamber and designed to exert an axial force against the piston. According to the invention, the elastic return device includes, on one of its faces bearing against the piston, an internal peripheral end which extends radially beneath the piston and which carries a gasket in order to seal off the balancing chamber from the control chamber. The invention likewise relates to a transmission system including such a dual clutch mechanism.
