Patents Assigned to Valeo Equipments Electriques Moteur
  • Patent number: 7528516
Abstract: In a rotary electrical machine, the stator is subject to eddy currents, causing losses. These losses are reduced by extending the path of the eddy currents whilst avoiding causing saturation. The invention therefore proposes to form recessed zones or slots (2) in the teeth (1) of the stator whose depth does not exceed one-half of the height of the tooth (1).
