At least one of the shutters includes at least two active zones which are addressed by a control signal which permits the switchover of the at least one corresponding shutter between a passing configuration, in which a transmittance is equal to a maximum value, and a blocking configuration, in which the transmittance is equal to a minimum value. A “principal” active zone covers a surface area of the adaptive screen which is equal to or lower than 60% of the surface area of the adaptive screen, in order to reduce the response time of the principal active zone.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a vehicle lighting device including a lens intended to deflect the light rays emitted by a light source and including a wheel sector with a driven surface. The wheel sector is made in one piece with the lens as a whole. Also included is a driving means with a driving surface such that the driving surface is in contact with the driven surface, and movement of the driving surface drives movement of the lens.
Abstract: A light system comprising: (a) a light source that is configured to direct light from an exterior of a vehicle; and (b) two or more optical elements that direct the light to two or more desired locations without movement of the light source, the two or more optical elements being in series so that the light from the light source is directed through the two or more optical elements; and wherein the two or more desired locations include a driving surface and a location above the driving surface.
Abstract: A light system comprising: (a) a vehicle connector configured to connect to a vehicle; (b) a light connector in communication with the vehicle connector, the light connector being movable relative to the vehicle connector; and (c) a bias member connected to the light connector and extending into contact with the vehicle connector so that as the light connector is adjusted the bias member creates a bias force to move the light connector away from the vehicle connector or the bias member is compressed to store energy.
Abstract: A field-correcting optical element configured to be arranged in an adaptive lighting device crosswise to light rays emitted by a plurality of light sources includes an entrance face through which light rays enter and an exit face through which these light rays exit. At least one segment of the entrance face is covered with an antireflection coating that is able to increase the transmittance of light rays through the optical element.
Abstract: A device for managing at least two light functions accommodated in a same motor vehicle light device, the managing device comprising a block of light sources for each light function, wherein the managing device further comprises: an input block configured to: provide a power supply common to the at least two light functions; indicate if the at least two light functions are activated or deactivated; a bias block configured to supply a stabilized reference voltage common to the at least two light functions; a switching block for each light function, one switching block of which is configured to deactivate one of the at least two light functions that is defined as secondary with respect to the other of the at least two light functions that is defined as having priority if the latter is activated.

Abstract: A method for obtaining a luminous device the turned-on aspect of which is different from the turned-off aspect, the device including a mask that is able to be partially passed through by light, one or more light sources, and a closing outer lens that is placed downstream of the mask. The one or more light sources and the mask are arranged with respect to one another so that the mask directly or indirectly receives the light rays emitted by the one or more light sources and so that only some of these emitted light rays pass through the mask. The method includes a step of arranging the one or more light sources in the luminous device in number and in power so that the light rays exiting from the luminous device form a signalling light beam.
Abstract: A light module, notably for a motor vehicle, including a first reflecting surface), of the elliptical type, with a first focus and a second focus; a second reflecting surface, of the parabolic type, with a focus corresponding to the second focus of the first reflecting surface; light rays emitted by a first light source located at the first focus of the first reflecting surface being reflected by the first and second reflecting surfaces to form a first light beam; and a third reflecting surface adjacent to the second focus of the first reflecting surface and configured to reflect, towards the second reflecting surface, light rays emitted by a second light source, in order to form a second light beam.
