Abstract: This brush holder assembly for an electric machine includes a bearing-forming metal end cap (26) intended to be mounted on a carcass of the machine, and a set of members (28, 30, 32, 34) for electrical connection of the brushes mounted on the end cap (26) by means of rivets (50, 52) which each include a shank extending from one of the pieces consisting of the end cap and one of the members, passing through an orifice formed in the other piece and folded over against the latter. The shank is made of the same material as the piece from which it extends and includes a closed head.

Abstract: In a device for cooling an electrical component and to the production method thereof, the inventive device includes a metallic radiator-forming member which is thermally connected to a metallic mass of the component that forms a heat-dissipating mass. The radiator is thermally connected to the dissipating mass by at least one heat sink which is formed by an autogenous weld between one face of the dissipating mass, known as the dissipating face, and one face of the radiator, which are facing one another. The invention can be used to cool electronic components, for example, in power electronic modules.

Abstract: This invention relates to windshield wiper system which utilizes a flexible drive arm for withstanding bending loads applied to a wiper. The drive arm may be made of a pull-molded composite material having a relatively low modulus of elasticity and a relatively high elongation factor. The flexible arm twists in the presence a bending load and undergoes rapidly progressing elastic buckling when the bending load exceeds a predetermined amount.
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for fixing permanent magnets inside the cylinder head of a field winding of an electric engine. The inventive device comprises spring clips (12) which are disposed between the permanent magnets in order to ensure the angular positioning and the axial and radial support of said magnets against the inner wall of the head. The end of each clip (12) which first penetrates the head when the permanent magnets are being inserted, comprises means for axially sliding on the inner cylindrical wall of the head, while preventing any contact with an end edge of the clip.
