Patents Assigned to Valigeria Roncato S.p.A.
  • Patent number: 10051932
Abstract: A rigid suitcase includes first and second shells defining a first storage volume, the outer surface of the first shell including a recess, and an auxiliary container defining a second storage volume, physically separate from the first storage volume, and adapted to be moved between an inserted state in which the auxiliary container is at last partially housed in the recess and a removed state, in which the auxiliary container is completely extracted from the recess. The rigid suitcase further includes guide members operable to guide the auxiliary container as it moves from the inserted state to the removed state and vice versa, and removable attachment members operable between the first shell and the auxiliary container and adapted to be actuated between an attached state, in which the auxiliary container cannot be removed from the recess and a released condition in which the auxiliary container can be removed.

  • Patent number: 8960391
Abstract: A suitcase comprising a body with an edge adapted to be coupled to a space of a connection means for a partition adapted to divide the internal space of the suitcase into a smaller space and a larger space, the connection comprising a raceway adapted to be slidingly coupled to a sliding element which is complementary to the raceway and fixed to a support element with which the partition is integrally associated, the connection includes an internal portion of the body made of soft material, at the extremity of which the raceway which is made of rigid material is fixed, and an external portion of the body made of soft material, the sliding element being made of rigid material fixed to the support element which is made of soft material.

Abstract: A suitcase is described, comprising a body with an edge adapted to be coupled to a space of a connection means for a partition adapted to divide the internal space of the suitcase into an inferior space and a superior space, said connection means comprising a raceway adapted to be slidingly coupled to a sliding element which is complementary to the raceway and fixed to a support element with which the partition is integrally associated. Said connection means includes an internal portion of the body made of soft material, at the extremity of which the raceway made of rigid material is fixed, and an external portion of the body made of soft material, the sliding element being made of rigid material fixed to the support element made of soft material.

  • Publication number: 20090145710
Abstract: This invention relates to a suitcase provided with two mouldings (2a, 2b), bonded to two shells (1a, 1b) respectively. The two mouldings (2a, 2b) each have a seat (7a, 7b) in which the terminal parts of the shells (1a, 1b) can be inserted. The interface surfaces are subjected to pre-treatment with cold plasma so as to form an activated surface layer (9) upon them which encourages adhesion between the adhesive (3) placed between the mouldings (2a, 2b) and the shells (1a, 1b) in order to bond them firmly together. In this way structured suitcases can even be obtained with thin and therefore very light shells whose resistance to squashing and impacts is due to the mouldings which can be manufactured with the necessary robustness. This invention also relates to a method for the production of such suitcases through the moulding of plastics materials.

  • Patent number: 6527306
Abstract: A closing assembly for bags, suitcases and similar, comprises at least one pair of catch means which are associated with a first half-shell of a bag, suitcase or similar and are capable of providing a releasable engagement with a corresponding pair of counter-catch means associated with a second half-shell of the bag, suitcase or similar for closing it. There are provided jointly activatable inhibition means for inhibiting the opening of the bag, suitcase or similar, operationally connected to the at least one pair of catch means and jointly activatable to block the release of the engagement with the pair of counter-catch means.

  • Patent number: 5884762
Abstract: A mulitfunction container has a rigid hull made of a plastic material. The hull has an opening on the back part thereof, an upper part, a front, a base, and a top release button on the upper part. The shape of the hull resembles a boot. The front of the hull has the shape of the tip of a shoe, with the opening being located at the back of the hull opposite to the shape of the tip of the shoe. The hull is able to receive a pair of boots in an upright position. An external handle is provided in the hull for carrying the hull. An access shutter is hinged to the hull so as to be capable of tilting backwards from a position closing the opening to a position that exposes the opening. An upper bent end of the access shutter terminates in a fastening tongue cooperable with the top release button. The clog on the base of the hull engages the ground, the clog having small holes and forming a space internal to the container.
