    Abstract: The present invention provides an improved lug nut protection system that includes a keyed lug nut and a specialty tool for installation and removal. According to a preferred embodiment, the present invention includes a protective sleeve which slides over the wheel end of a given lug nut, and which is held in place by a retaining ring or the like. According to a further preferred embodiment, the protective sleeve preferably freely rotates and prevents common tools (i.e., pipe wrenches) from removing the lug nut thus preventing theft of the wheel/tire. According to a further preferred embodiment, the lug nut of the present invention is preferably recessed within the protective sleeve and preferably includes a keyed head which requires a specialty tool to remove the lug nut. Preferably, the specialty tool of the present invention fits inside the sleeve and over the top of the custom lug nut design.

    Abstract: A method for making a prefabricated, prestressed module includes arranging one or more steel beams atop a supporting formwork element in a direction transverse to the supporting formwork element and arranging one or more precast deck elements across the one or more steel beams to create a substantially continuous surface. The one or more precast deck elements have pockets for receiving connectors that protrude from the one or more steel beams. The method also includes arranging the supporting formwork element to allow the one or more steel beams to bend into a cambered shape to impart compressive stresses to a bottom flange of the one or more steel beams and tension stresses to a top flange of the one or more steel beams and inserting grout into the pockets to hold the cambered shape and to bond the one or more precast deck elements to the connectors and the top flange.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a sacrificial anodic plug for insertion within an irrigation span to provide anodic corrosion protection. According to a preferred embodiment, the anodic plug of the present invention includes a protective cap connected to a securing bushing, and an anodic coupler which extends into the interior of the irrigation span. Preferably, the securing bushing includes non-conductive threads for mating with the threads of a sprinkler outlet and for electrically isolating the anodic coupler from the protective cap. According to further preferred embodiments, the anodic coupler is formed of magnesium and extends down away from the protective cap and terminates in an anodic base. According to a further preferred embodiment, the protective cap may include a wear indicator indicating the amount of anodic material remaining in the central anodic coupler and anodic base.
