Abstract: An abutment arrangement for connecting a dental restoration to a dental implant, including a post body and a screw element. The post body has an expansion part and the screw element includes a spreading section. The passage extends through the expansion part of the post body. An outer diameter of the expansion part of the post body is elastically increasable by applying a lateral force. The passage of the post body has a pressure receiving section at the expansion part. When the screw element is located in the passage of the post body, the spreading section of the screw element is arrangeable at the pressure receiving section of the passage of the post body such that the lateral force is applied to the expansion part of the post body and the outer diameter of the expansion part of the post body is increased.

Abstract: A dental restoration cementing device for cementing a dental restoration is disclosed having a closable axial passage to a base having a hollow interior which is open into an occlusal direction. The device includes a preferably elastic body portion dimensioned to tightly fit into the hollow interior of the base via the passage of the dental restoration. The device further includes a hollow cementing portion extending from the body portion. The cementing portion has a lateral opening which is located outside the base when the body portion is fitted into the hollow interior of the base such that a pathway is formed from the interior of the cementing portion through the lateral opening into a gap between the dental restoration and the base. The dental restoration cementing device allows for precisely, quickly and cost efficiently cementing the dental restoration to the base.

The set also including a mounting tool for mounting and demounting the retention insert of the connection device to and from the holding shell of the connection device such that a retention rim of the retention insert is moved in towards its central axis when a demounting head of the mounting tool is arranged within a space between an outer surface of the retention rim of the retention insert and an inner surface of a holding rim of the holding shell allowing the retention insert to be released from the holding shell.

Abstract: A retention insert (1), for connecting a dental prosthesis structure to a dental implant or capping structure having a head designed for a press-fit connection, comprises a substantially circular disc-shaped end face (12), and a substantially ring-shaped retention edge (11), which protrudes from the end face (12) and has an outer surface (114). The end face (12) has an opening (121), and, starting from an end (11b) of the retention edge (11) directed away from the end face (12), a substantially axial slit (14) extends through the retention edge (11) and the end face (12) to the opening (121) of the end face (12).
