Abstract: An adjustable walking cane includes an inner tube, an outer tube, a connecting rod, a pushing unit and an extending unit. A spring compresses the connecting rod against the extending unit and the pushing unit, a resilient sleeve bears against the inner threaded segment on the outer tube, and then the length of the outer tube and inner tube can be fixed. In the extending process, the inner tube and the outer tube extend outwardly by pulling the cane from two ends thereof, and the inner tube and the outer tube are released from compression while the resilient sleeve is detached from the inner threaded segment. In the retracting process, the inner tube and the outer tube are released from compression while the extending pieces on the extending unit driven by controlling unit is detached from the taper surface of the pushing unit.

The body has two “?” shaped frames, which are connected with two “U” shaped frames. The “U” shaped frames have four rods protruding downwards and each rod is interposed into the tubes of a pulley. The bearing plate may consist of two parallel side borders, with each end of the side border connected with a fixing apparatus, and a mesh-like support structure between the two borders. This shelf allows convenient tool-free shelving system installation and provides opportunity for customers to enjoy the process of assembling the shelf.

The actuation post includes a second screwing section, a bushing with a through hole, a holding sheath, a bolt, and a stopping piece. The pushing member includes a conical face defined thereon, a second end inserted into the inner rod, an orifice, and a spring being biased against the pushing member and the stopping piece. The expending member includes an aperture, a nut, a plurality of expansion sheets vertically extending around an outer wall thereof and surrounding around the actuation post, and a resilient loop fitted on a distal end thereof.
