    Abstract: A chimney section including a jacket having a breech aperture. A breech assembly is affixed to the jacket over the breech aperture. A reinforcement assembly further interconnects the jacket and breech assembly. The reinforcement assembly includes a shroud having a planar portion which is elongated and is tapered at each end thereof. A plurality of side members join the planar member to the jacket. The breech assembly extends through the planar member.
