    Abstract: Disclosed is a method for restoring a scan image. The method includes the steps of: measuring a blurring function oversampled with respect to a slit image obtained through a slit inclined at a predetermined angle in a vertical or horizontal direction according to the predetermined angle; and restoring a scan image to increase a resolution of an interface of a subject in the scan image obtained by obtaining the subject using the measured blurring function. Computed tomography (CT) that applies image restoration by increasing sampling can secure a precise image for computer-aided design (CAD)/computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) additionally used in a system used when actually diagnosing a patient, and thus does not require additional expenses and equipment.

    Abstract: An X-ray imaging device and an X-ray imaging method for obtaining 3D X-ray images of an entire field of view (FOV). The device includes an X-ray source for radiating X-rays to a part of an FOV and an X-ray sensor for detecting the X-rays, which have passed through the part of the FOV. The X-ray sensor has a width narrower than the radius of a smallest circle including a cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the FOV. A rotating arm supports the X-ray source and the X-ray sensor to face each other with the FOV therebetween. The rotating arm rotates and moves about an axis of rotation between the X-ray source and the X-ray sensor so that the X-rays are radiated to the entire area of the FOV in various directions of the FOV.

According to the apparatus and the method, the method comprises the steps of: obtaining a preceding frame image by irradiating radiation on one certain section of an image layer trace on which the tooth trace of a subject is embodied; calculating a gray scale average value of pixels that are included within a predetermined reference region of the preceding frame image; comparing the calculated gray scale average value with a gray scale reference value that is calculated from a prepared sample image, and generating a radiation correction value corresponding to a difference value therebetween; and obtaining a succeeding frame image by irradiating strength-adjusted radiation on one section that is adjacent to the other section of an unknown layer trace, according to the calculated radiation correction value.
