Abstract: Described herein is the identification of the NMT1, NMT2 and metAP2 genes, mRNA overexpressed in PBMCs of patients with adenomatous polyps in comparison with patients with non-adenomatous polyps and healthy controls. We also discovered that NMT2 levels are higher in the PBMCs of patients adenomatous polyps in comparison with patients with non-adenomatous polyps and healthy control subjects.
