    Abstract: An inter-linkable LED security light is disclosed which is configured with an LED load, a detection device, a switching circuitry, a microcontroller and a wireless transmitter. When an external control signal is detected by the detection device, the external control signal is converted into a message carrying sensing signal and the microcontroller responsively operates to output a control signal to turn on the security light for a predetermined time duration, synchronously the microcontroller also manages to transmit the message sensing signal thru the wireless transmitter to control the same lighting performance of at least one neighboring light. The detection device is optionally an active infrared ray motion sensor, a passive infrared ray motion sensor, an ultrasonic wave sensor, a microwave sensor capable of detecting a motion intrusion or a photo sensor capable of detecting a light intensity of a detection area where the lighting apparatus is positioned.

    Abstract: A lifestyle LED security light including a light-emitting unit configured with two sets of LED loads respectively emitting different color temperature lights is disclosed. At dusk the light-emitting unit is automatically turned on for a first level illumination with a low color temperature light featuring an aesthetic night view with the motion sensor being deactivated for a time duration, and then the light emitting unit is changed to a second level illumination and at the same time the motion sensor is activated, wherein when the motion sensor detects a motion intrusion, the light-emitting unit is instantly switched to perform a third level illumination with a a high light intensity and a high color temperature light. The color temperatures of the first level illumination and the third level illumination are respectively adjustable by simultaneously and reversely adjusting the electric powers respectively allocated to the two sets of LED loads.

    Abstract: A sensing lamp includes a lamp body connected with a sensing module. The sensing module is configured with a sensing unit and a cover partially covering the sensing unit. The sensing unit has a passive infrared ray sensor and at least one parameter adjusting element. The sensing unit is rotatable around a central axis passing thru the sensing module and the lamp body. When the sensing unit is rotated to a first angle position, the at least one parameter adjusting element is blocked and the passive infrared ray sensor is able to perform a forward sensing function. When the sensing unit is rotated to a second angle position, the at least one parameter adjusting element is exposed to being conveniently adjusted. The passive infrared ray sensor is configured with a partial cylindrical condensing lens for performing a horizontal detection angle ranging from 100 degrees to 270 degrees.

    Abstract: A two-level LED security light includes a light-emitting unit comprising at least an LED load which may be turned on or turned off by a light sensing control unit. A motion sensing unit upon an intrusion detection activates the LED load to generate a high level illumination for a time length adjustable by a time setting unit. The LED load is operated in compliance with a power supply unit wherein a voltage V across each LED is confined in a range Vth<V<Vmax, with Vth a threshold voltage and Vmax a maximum voltage. The light-emitting unit may be configured with two LED lighting loads emitting lights with different color temperatures, wherein a power allocation circuitry may be installed to respectively distribute different electric powers to the two LED loads to manage a color temperature tuning scheme thru a light diffuser.

    Abstract: A security light technology to configure an automatically setting timer used for selecting and operating a light-on duration activated by a motion sensor is disclosed. The disclosed uses a shutoff transition mode to eliminate a hassle or hardship caused by an unexpected “shutoff” of illumination. The shutoff transition mode also serves a communication interface between the motion sensor and an occupant remaining in a detection space such that the occupant can interrupt the shutoff transition mode. The disclosed uses a software algorithm to detect and learn the motion characteristics of occupants in the detection space and thereby to automatically set a timer to operate the light-on duration triggered by a motion intrusion. The disclosed also teaches a dual mode motion sensing light configured with a short timer to manage a pathway illumination and a long timer to manage an occupancy illumination bridged by the shutoff transition mode.

The first illumination mode is a general illumination mode while the second illumination mode is an energy saving mode. The timer can be an anytime setting timer, a fixed time point timer, a fixed time period timer or a clock timer. The anytime setting timer is also usable for replacing a photo sensor to automatically turn on and turn off an LED light. The clock timer can be used for controlling on/off performance of the LED light according to a clock time schedule.

In one embodiment, the control unit is rotatable such that an operating parameter adjusting element can be rotated to an easy-access location for making an adjustment. In another embodiment, the operating parameter adjusting element is fixed at an easy access location with the cover being designed with an opening covered by an openable device. The user may rotate the openable device to uncover the operating parameter adjusting element for making an adjustment.
