Abstract: An anti-skid mechanism operating device includes an operating unit and an operating arm pivotally supported thereby and intended to carry a rotary anti-skid and to operate the latter between an active position and a passive position. The operating unit is formed with a linear drive and a rotationally mounted rotary device, which is connected to the operating arm. A string-like drive transmission element extends essentially along the longitudinal axis of the drive, between the drive and the rotary device, in order to translate a linear movement of the drive into a pivotal movement of the operating arm in two opposite directions.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device for controlling the operating brake pressure to pressure medium brakes in a vehicle combination comprising a tractor vehicle and at least one trailer vehicle. The vehicles in this case are connected by a conventional coupling device that includes standard brakeline connections. Forces developing in the coupling device are measured during the course of braking and are reduced to a predetermined value by adjusting the brake pressure for at least the brakes of the trailer vehicle in dependence on the longitudinal inclination of the tractor vehicle and of the actual deceleration thereof. The adjusted value of the brake pressure is retained for the purpose of being the starting value at the next braking of the vehicles.

Abstract: A coupling device intended to be applied on a vehicle, and which includes an attachment portion and a coupling portion, one of said portions including a tube shaped female element and the other one a longitudinal male element intended to be received in the female element. A movable piston, sidewardly spring biased towards the female element, is able to be introduced a side recess in the male element, the piston being kept pressed into the side recess by an abutment element in a first mutual position of engagement between the piston and the abutment element.

Abstract: Apparatus for matching the brake pressure of vehicle combinations to the actual load comprising tranducers (36, 41) for adjusting the brake pressure of the units (10, 13) included in the vehicle combination, in dependence on pulling and pushing, respectively, of a coupling between the tractor vehicle and the trailer vehicle and in dependence on the loading of the vehicles.
