    Abstract: A device for adjustment of an electrical clock with a clockwork train, the latter having an hour pointer driven via an hour gearwheel and via an hour intermediate wheel, a minutes pointer which is driven by means of a minutes gearwheel (the hour intermediate wheel being coupled in clock drive operation with the minutes gearwheel) and a minutes intermediate wheel, as well as having additional gearwheels with a first transmission ratio, the minutes intermediate wheel being coupled with a motor via the additional gearwheels. The minutes gearwheel is decouplable from the minutes intermediate wheel for the coarse adjustment of the minutes pointer and, by means of at least one additional gearwheel with a second transmission ratio which is more direct than the first transmission ratio, the minutes gearwheel is coupleable with the motor.

    Abstract: An arrangement for time-division multiplex data transmission having a data bus system which comprises a data bus circuit, several subscribers which are connected to the data bus circuit and have a transmitter part and a receiver part and communicate with one another by data transmission in a predetermined sequence in a given combination, and at least one clock generator, in which the sequence of all the given combinations of the subscribers runs through during a time frame and a time slot within the time frame is available for connecting each combination. Each subscriber includes at least one programmable counter for emitting a control signal when a programmed number has been reached and for resetting itself to zero when a given counting capacity which is the same for all counters has been reached. The programmable counter has a counter input connected to the clock generator and a first control output.

The dial is made by applying the dye coats and scale markings in sequential operations by use of a screen printing process.

    Abstract: An electric clock with a quartz oscillator, a frequency divider connected following the latter and an output stage driven by the latter, in the output of the output stage there being disposed a single phase stepping motor which acts on a clockwork gear train driving the hour indicator and the minute indicator, as well as a storage battery supplying the operating voltage and a charging circuit for the battery. The single phase stepping motor and the clockwork gear train form a self-contained construction assembly. The quartz oscillator, the frequency divider, the output stage and the charging circuit are arranged on a single printed circuit board. The printed circuit board and the construction assembly are connected with one another via two electrically conducting pins secured on the excitation coil. The printed circuit board and the construction assembly are secured in common on a carrier plate, the latter having an opening for the hour tube and the minute tube, respectively.

    Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed for the continuous measurement of the level of liquid in a container, wherein a flexible cable extends into close proximity or engagement with the floor of the container and comprises the oscillation determining element of an oscillator. The cable has a length greater than the distance between its mount to the container and the bottom of the container, and is doubled over at least part of its length to form an arc or loop at the container floor. A support engages the cable adjacent the container floor and holds the cable so that the arc or loop maintains its position relative to the container floor even though the container floor may sag or bulge, or the spacing between the floor and top of different containers varies because of manufacturing tolerances and the like.

    Abstract: An electrically heated spray nozzle assembly adapted to be mounted upon an automotive vehicle in a position to direct a fluid spray upon the windshield thereof includes a hollow angled pipe having a fluid inlet at one end and a spray nozzle at its other end. The pipe is enclosed in a housing made of heat-insulating thermoplastic material and a pill-shaped PTC heating element is mounted in a downwardly open chamber in the housing below the nozzle. The element is in contiguous heat exchange relationship with the pipe and nozzle and the power supply connections thereto pass through a plastic closure element closing the downwardly open chamber. The housing is circumferentially grooved for releasable engagement with the rim of an opening in the vehicle body. The PTC element has its temperature-resistance curve rising sharply at or about 0.degree. C. with its steepest portion below 50.degree. C.
