Abstract: An airflow charging system and vehicle include a turbine, a driveline pulley and a driving belt, a main charging pulley and a charging belt, a processor, and a memory. The turbine is configured to rotate the driveline pulley, and the driveline pulley is operably connected to an electric motor. The main charging pulley is operably connected to the electric motor, and rotation of the main charging pulley is configured to charge a battery. The battery provides power to the electric motor. The memory includes instructions stored thereon, which, when executed by the processor, cause the system to receive a first signal indicating that the vehicle is in motion, operate the electric motor to rotate the turbine, receive a second signal from the vehicle indicating a vehicle speed, and, if the vehicle speed is greater than or equal to a predetermined speed, stop operating the electric motor.
