    Abstract: A transfer unit for supporting and moving a tread/belt assembly is provided with a stable cylindrical base with a longitudinal axis and with a passage part provided with arms which are laterally arranged on the base body and which extend essentially in a longitudinal direction. Gates for radially admitting rollers of the pressure roller unit are formed by the base body and the arms and have a pass through opening which is located between the free ends of two adjacent arms.
