Abstract: A vent control for a grill. The vent control includes a panel and an actuator that is operatively connected to and which is able to move the panel so that it can control the draft of the grill. The operative connection between the panel and the apparatus includes interengagable teeth. The vent control is attached to a grill so that the panel is located adjacent a surface of the grill and the actuator protrudes through a hole in the grill and is manipulable by way of a control knob. In use, the panel is moved by the actuator so that it is able to regulate the draft of the grill. Preferably, the actuator includes a shaft that is provided with a drive member in the form of a toothed gear, while the panel includes a toothed rail or rack that is engagable with the drive member.

Abstract: Securely stacking and height adjustable bar stools are provided. In one embodiment of the present invention, the seat of a bar stool includes an upper leg restraining system that accommodates a pair of legs from another bar stool that is to be securely stacked on top. In conjunction with the upper leg restraining system, a leg bracing system is provided to accommodate and restrain the pair of legs from another bar stool. In addition, the seat height of a bar stool may be incrementally increased by attaching a plurality of leg extenders to previously added leg extenders until a desired bar stool seat height has been attained.
Abstract: A powered patio pole umbrella is provided. The powered patio pole umbrella receives power from an external outlet and provides power to a plurality of power hubs including electrical outlets positioned vertically within the central pole of the umbrella. Consumers may plug electrical devices into the electrical outlets in the power hubs. The power hubs are sealed for moisture and a ground fault circuit interrupter is provided for additional safety.

The system includes a pan including a perimeter, a generally vertical wall, a generally horizontal base including an aperture, and a slope from the wall to the aperture. A removable receptacle for catching ashes may be positioned under the aperture. The receptacle may be slidably positioned along a mounting attached to the pan or the receptacle may be removably positioned into the aperture by a removal fixture attached to the receptacle. The pan and receptacle may be installed in a cart. The cart may include a frame which has an interior perimeter and the interior perimeter of the cart is smaller than the perimeter of the pan.
