In an embodiment, visually perceivable data is generated and displayed at first device representing a digital order which is the subject of a transaction. In an embodiment, a second device receives digital data comprising a digital image and determines the digital image matches the visually perceivable data. In an embodiment, the second device receives data representing the digital order in response to determining the digital image matches the visually perceivable data. In an embodiment, the second device completes a digital transaction after receiving the digital order.

Abstract: A method and system for generating perceivable data representing a digital order is provided. A GUI receives a user selection of a particular button of a plurality of buttons. Each button of the plurality of buttons is for adding a respective menu or catalog item to a checkout cart. The particular button displays within its border at least one line of copy and at least one emoji, where the at least one emoji indicates the respective menu or catalog item. The at least one line of copy provides a text description of the respective menu or catalog item and is displayed in at least a minimum font point size and at least a minimum color contrast ratio relative to a background of the particular button. The GUI is then updated to indicate that the respective menu or catalog item for the particular button is added to the checkout cart.

Abstract: A central or “core” application a fulfillment application at a venue, and a wireless communication application hosted on a computing device, such as a cell phone, of an attendee at an event at that venue communicate via a network. Customers may sign up online, through a various types of web applications or dedicated applications to receive information, such as menus, catalogs, or the like of available products to be at the event. The core application may manage a database of records of customers, products, and fulfilment locations. The core application may send to fulfilment applications hosted by other computers at fulfilment locations instructions to dispatch “runners” to deliver products to seat locations of customers who may order products (e.g., food, merchandise, etc.) over cell phones or other internet-connected wireless computer devices.

Abstract: To improve user interaction with a venue, a venue management system is associated with the venue and maintains information associated with users and with vendors associated with the venue. The venue management system receives orders for products or services from users and communicates the received orders to vendors associated with the venue to be fulfilled. The venue management system dynamically modifies communication of orders to various vendors associated with the venue for fulfillment to expedite order fulfillment. To modify communication of orders to vendors, the venue management system accounts for times for different vendors to fulfill orders, delivery times from vendors to users, resources used to fulfill orders by various vendors, and distances between various vendors and users placing orders.

Abstract: A media processing unit may identify, automatically based on game play data relating to game events of a sporting event and a set of source selection rules, different media portions from different media sources to include in the media coverage of a particular sporting event. Each of the different media sources may be configured to deliver different media related to the sporting event. The media processing unit determines a plurality of media mappings, which each associate a media portions with a game portions. Based on the determined media mappings, for each game portion, a media processing unit may select a media portion delivery to a user as media coverage of the game portion.

Abstract: An application associated with an online system executing on a client device identifies an additional application on the client device with which the application may exchange information. To exchange information between the application and additional application, the online system receives a request for authentication information from the application that identifies the additional application and a user of the application. The online system generates and stores authentication information in association with an identifier associated with the user by the application and with an identifier of the additional application. After communicating the authentication information to the client device, the online system receives a request to verify the authentication information from the additional application.

Abstract: An online system associated with a venue provides an application to client devices that allows a user to select an additional user from information accessible to a client device and to identify a meeting point within the venue for the user and the additional user to meet. The application identifies the additional user to an online system, which determines whether the additional user also uses the online system and is within a threshold distance of the venue. If the additional user is a user of the online system and is within the threshold distance of the venue, the online system transmits a request to travel to the meeting point to a client device associated with the additional user. The online system also provides directions to the user's client device and to the additional user's client device for the user and the additional user, respectively, to travel to the meeting point.

The directions communicated to the client device account for traffic conditions within a threshold distance of the parking lot, and the venue management system may modify stored directions to the parking lot based on the traffic conditions and communicate the modified directions to the client device for presentation to the user. Additionally, the traffic conditions used by the venue management system include information describing on current usage of various parking lots associated with the venue to allow the user to bypass congestion.
