    Abstract: The invention relates to a mounting element for a flat insulating body which is mounted on a thin-walled base, like the metal sheet of airduct. The element comprises a pin for perforating the insulating body and holding the body by a plate clamped on the pin and screw, the shaft of which is provided with a self-cutting thread and on the head of which, which as key engaging faces, the pin is sitting in alignment with the shaft.
