Abstract: A wall assembly (1) for the construction of a wall element (14), wherein accumulation of the shrinkage heights of the different beams to form a major shrinkage for every wall element (14) is avoided, having two profiles (3) extending substantially vertically, two beams (2), stacked one on top of the other and extending substantially horizontally between the two profiles (3) and that have at each end a positioning end (6) that has a smaller height than the respective beam (2), and two positioning elements (4) for very two beams (2) that can be secured to a profile (3) such that each positioning element (4) extends substantially between the positioning ends (6) of two beams (2) stacked one on top of the other and the upper one of these beams (2) stacked one on top of the other is supported on this positioning element (4).
