    Abstract: Systems and methods of tracking assigned random code strings are provided. Random code strings are grouped and each group is assigned a consecutive identifier. The assignment of the groups of random code strings to the consecutive identifier can be stored in a database, printed on a tag and/or printed directly on instantiations of products. The unique code strings themselves can be used to identify a group to which they are assigned and an amount of unique code strings in the identified group.
