Abstract: Provided is an edge key value (“EKV”) store for receiving data from any of network location of a distributed platform, and for distributed a synchronized copy of the data to servers at the network locations where the data is requested regardless of where, how, and when the data is updated. The EKV store may receive a first value for a key at a first storage device of the EKV store based on a message issued by a first user through a first network location, may receive a second value for the key at a second storage device of the EKV store based on a message issued by a second user through a second network location, and may store the second value as a current value for the key by forming a consensus across the storage devices that the second value is the most recent value for the key.

  • Patent number: 11035681
Abstract: A device provides, to a navigation device, original route information that includes information indicating directions from an origination to a destination, and waypoints. The device receives, from the navigation device, a request for a new route from a current location to the destination, and receives the original route information when the request is associated with an original route stored in the data structure. The device identifies a point along the original route, closest to the current location, and calculates a route from the point along the original route to the current location. The device combines the route and the original route at the point along the original route to create a new route from the current location to the destination, and provides, to the navigation device, new route information for the new route, where the new route information includes information indicating waypoints between the current location and the destination.

  • Patent number: 11038954
Abstract: A network device, of a cloud computing environment, receives a packet destined for a virtual machine of the cloud computing environment. The packet is received from a user device and via public network. The network device is associated with a first public Internet protocol (IP) address, and the virtual machine is associated with a second public IP address that is different than the first public IP address. The network device determines, based on the packet, the second public IP address associated with the virtual machine, and provides the packet to the virtual machine based on the second public IP address associated with the virtual machine.

  • Patent number: 11038902
Abstract: Disclosed is a device for configuring and implementing network security for a connected network node, and for shifting the network security closer to the attack point of origin. In particular, the device may activate attack protections on different Multi-Access Edge Computing (“MEC”) devices that are physically located near or at the attack point of origin. The device may detect an attack signature based on one or more received data packets, and may provide a response with an extended header field, the attack signature, and/or other attack protection instructions. The responses may be passed to an address of a suspected attacker. MEC devices along the network path may detect and receive the responses, and implement attack protections in response. The responses may also be passed to a multicast or broadcast address that the MEC device may use to receive responses.

  • Patent number: 11038753
Abstract: A computer device receives user parameters for an Over-The-Air (OTA) update campaign. The parameters include a number of user equipment (UE) devices to receive an OTA update, a device type to receive the OTA update, a file size of an OTA update file, and a service level agreement parameter for the OTA update campaign. The computer device generates an estimate for conducting the OTA update campaign based on the user parameters and predicted network conditions, provides the estimate to a user, and receives a request for conducting the OTA update campaign using the user parameters. The request includes identifiers for the UE devices and the OTA update file. The computer device generates, based on the request, a schedule to perform the OTA update on the UE devices in accordance with the service level agreement parameter, and instructs the UE devices to perform the OTA update based on the schedule.

  • Patent number: 11039502
Abstract: Systems described herein provide techniques for establishing and modifying user plane communications sessions between Long-Term Evolution (“LTE”) User Equipment (“UE”) devices, connected to LTE base stations, and a Fifth Generation (“5G”) core network. An LTE-5G Interworking function (“LTE-5G IWF”) may logically generate a virtual 5G UE and/or 5G base station, map a LTE UE to the virtual 5G UE, and cause the establishment of a Protocol Data Unit (“PDU”) Session, at the 5G core network, with the virtual 5G UE. The LTE-5G IWF may provide PDU Session information to the LTE UE and base station to facilitate the establishment of user plane communications (e.g., via a tunnel) between the LTE UE and the 5G core network. The LTE-5G IWF may also receive modification parameters, such as Quality of Service (“QoS”) parameters, and provide instructions to the 5G core and/or to the LTE UE to handle traffic according to such parameters.

  • Patent number: 11038967
Abstract: A device can receive, from a user device, a hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) CONNECT request associated with a toll-free data service. The user device can establish a first transmission control protocol (TCP) connection with a proxy server. The HTTP CONNECT request can request the proxy server to establish a second TCP connection with a content provider server. The device can determine, based on the HTTP CONNECT request, that an authorization condition is satisfied. The device can store information associated with a flow between the user device and the content provider server. The user device and the content provider server can establish a transport layer security (TLS) connection based on the first TCP connection and the second TCP connection. The device can provide the information associated with the flow to permit an account of an entity to be adjusted in association with the toll-free data service.
