  • Patent number: 10861013
Abstract: Techniques, described herein, may enable network services to be efficiently and effectively implemented as containers by computing devices operating in a cloud computing environment. Container images may be built and tested locally by an operator device and pushed to the computing devices for deployment of containers defined by the container images. The computing devices may enable the containers to communicate with one another by applying a domain name service (DNS) and port mapping tool to the containers. The computing devices may provide data collection, data search, and data visualization tools to enable an operator to monitor and manage the containers themselves as well as the activity of the containers.

Abstract: A device obtains a data structure from a computing device, and divides the data structure into data segments. The device obtains a list of user devices from the computing device and obtains, from one or more network devices, a respective location and a respective reachability of each user device. The device determines, based on the respective location of each user device, a set of user devices connected to a base station. The device determines a communication capability of the base station, and determines, based on the communication capability, a subset of the set of user devices and one or more sets of the data segments. The device sends, based on the respective reachability of each user device of the subset of user devices, the one or more sets of data segments to the subset of user devices via the base station.

  • Publication number: 20200382986
Abstract: An example method can include receiving information identifying a quality of service (QoS) flow for a communication session involving a user equipment (UE). The information can include a QoS profile and a QoS flow identifier (QFI). The method can include identifying, from a QoS profile, a QoS configuration identifier associated with the QoS flow and selecting a data radio bearer (DRB) for the communications associated with the QoS flow. The DRB can be selected based on a mapping of a plurality of DRBs to a plurality of QoS flows, and the mapping can be based on corresponding QoS configuration identifiers of the plurality of QoS flows. The method can include assigning the QoS flow to the DRB by adding the QFI of the QoS flow to the mapping relative to the DRB and causing the communications associated with the QoS flow to be transmitted using the DRB.

  • Publication number: 20200382321
Abstract: A device receives, from an application, a request to access an attestation key stored in a secure element of the device. The device obtains an attestation policy, by which to verify an identity of the application. The device examines an application file associated with the application, to determine whether the application file satisfies the attestation policy. The device selectively generates a temporary key based on a result of examining the application file. The temporary key may be used to access the attestation key. The temporary key may be generated based on the application file satisfying the attestation policy, and may not be generated based on the application file not satisfying the attestation policy.

  • Publication number: 20200383057
Abstract: Techniques described herein may be used to conserver battery power of an Internet of Things (IoT) tracker by increasing the overall amount of time that the IoT tracker is in a battery conservation mode (a sleep mode, a Power Save Mode (PSM), etc.). An IoT tracker may implement a battery conservation policy that may include instructions that cause the IoT tracker to monitor certain conditions, determine when the conditions satisfy a particular trigger, and implement a battery conservation mode in response to those conditions. Examples of such conditions may include (1) the IoT tracker being close to a user device designated to track the location of the IoT tracker, (2) identifying that a current time and day are associated with a pre-selected schedule for disabling tracking services, (3) the IoT tracker being located within a particular geographic area, and more.

  • Patent number: 10853227
Abstract: A test platform provides modular test automation. The modular test automation may include defining modular segments of a test configuration, and testing an Application Under Test (“AUT”) based on the modular segments. The test configuration may define a specific flow or execution ordering for the modular segments. The flow may be changed by reordering the segments, modularly adding new segments anywhere in the flow, removing segments, modifying individual segments without affecting other segments, defining a particular segment once and reusing the particular segment in two or more different test configurations, and/or carrying over a change made to the particular segment in a first test configuration to the particular segment of a second test configuration automatically. The modular test automation may also include modularly selecting a set of nodes for testing the AUT according to the modular segments of the flow.

  • Patent number: 10853914
Abstract: An exemplary image stitching recovery system detects a failed attempt by an image stitching system to generate a first panoramic image in a target location image set that includes a plurality of panoramic images each depicting a target location from a different respective locus point. The image stitching recovery system identifies a particular locus point at which a second panoramic image within the target location image set has been successfully generated, and identifies, based on a second set of control points that were used by the image stitching system to successfully generate the second panoramic image at the particular locus point, a first set of control points based upon which the first panoramic image is to be successfully generated. Subsequently, the image stitching recovery system directs the image stitching system to generate, based on the first set of control points, the first panoramic image in the target location image set.

  • Patent number: 10853362
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for optimizing full-spectrum cardinality approximations on big data utilizing an optimized LogLog counting technique. To accomplish the foregoing, a multiset of objects that each corresponds to one of a plurality of objects associated with a resource are obtained. A compound data object is populated at least in part with data that is derived based on generated hash values that correspond to each object in the obtained multiset. The populated compound data object is processed with a full-spectrum harmonic mean estimation operation that can accurately determine a cardinality estimate for the obtained multiset using less resources and time when compared to traditional techniques. The determination is further made without the need to employ linear counting or bias correction operations on low or high cardinalities.

  • Patent number: 10855843
Abstract: A system described herein may use automated techniques, such as machine learning techniques, to analyze device snapshots from a group of User Equipment (“UEs”), and determine trouble conditions that are experienced by the UEs. The system may identify markers of the trouble conditions based on the snapshots, and may use these markers to predict or identify trouble conditions at other UEs based on snapshots received from the other UEs. Further, once a trouble condition is predicted or identified at the other UEs, the trouble condition may be proactively addressed, without requiring an explicit request from the other UEs to address the trouble condition.

  • Patent number: 10853845
Abstract: Mobile devices and servers that securely manage transactional history for targeted content are described. A content originator generates a secure content package for the targeted content and delivers the package to a trusted service manager (TSM). The TSM delivers the package to a first mobile device. The first mobile device presents the package for redemption and/or transfers the package to one or more additional mobile devices. Prior to presentment or transfer, the first mobile device updates a secure history container of the package to include a unique identifier of the first mobile device and a corresponding authentication token. When the package is presented for redemption, the TSM validates the package and authenticates the secure history container. The TSM delivers the authenticated secure history container to the content originator as a record of the redemption.

  • Patent number: 10856360
Abstract: An orchestration device may receive a request to register available multi-access edge computing (MEC) resources to be shared with a network operator. For example, the available MEC resources may be provided by a provider operating a MEC host located in an edge region of a radio access network (RAN) associated with the network operator. The orchestration device may receive information related to a requested MEC session to support an application workload for a user equipment in communication with a base station located in the edge region of the RAN and assign at least a portion of the application workload to the MEC host based on a profile for the MEC host and a service level agreement specifying one or more performance requirements associated with the application workload. Accordingly, the orchestration device may cause the portion of the application workload to be transmitted to the MEC host.
