Abstract: Information regarding the status of an update to a universal integrated circuit card (UICC) being performed across a mobile wireless communication network is provided to a server involved in the update process and/or to a user of the mobile communication device having the UICC. The UICC update server sends an update trigger to the mobile communication device, and the UICC initiates establishment of a communication link to receive the update. The UICC further causes a baseband processor of the mobile communication device to send a proof-of-receipt of the update trigger by short message service (SMS) messaging back to the update server. Additionally or alternatively, the UICC causes the baseband processor to send a wakeup message to a mobile device application executing on the mobile device. The wakeup message includes status information relating to the UICC update which can be provided to a user of the mobile device.

Abstract: A device receives a request for a flight path from a first location to a second location in a region, and calculates the flight path based on the request and based on one or more of weather information, air traffic information, obstacle information, regulatory information, or historical information associated with the region. The device determines required capabilities for the flight path based on the request, and selects, from multiple UAVs, a particular UAV based on the required capabilities for the flight path and based on a ranking of the multiple UAVs. The device generates flight path instructions for the flight path, and provides the flight path instructions to the particular UAV to permit the particular UAV to travel from the first location to the second location via the flight path.

Abstract: A method of receiving, by a mobile switching center (MSC), a first call associated with an IP multimedia subsystem (IMS) network. The method determines whether an origination request return result (ORREQ rr) message, associated with the first received call, was previously received by the MSC. Based on the determination that the ORREQ rr was previously received, the method generates a session initiation protocol (SIP) invite message and sends the SIP invite message from the MSC.

Abstract: Systems and methods for recycling contact numbers are presented. A service provider receives a disconnect request for a device associated with a contact number. The system retrieves and stores the device's contact list and/or communication history. One or more messages are created and stored. The contact number is placed in a pool of recycled numbers and mapped to the stored information, and may later be assigned to a second device. Subsequently, when a call is made over the service provider's network, the called number is compared with numbers in the pool. If a match is found, the system retrieves the stored contact list and/or communication history, and compares the calling number to numbers in the contact list and/or communication history. If a match is found, the system retrieves and plays the message to inform the calling party that the number they are trying to reach has been re-assigned.

Abstract: A system and method for managing access to a Wi-Fi system include redirecting an access request, comprising a user credential, from a wireless user device to an authentication server, obtaining, from a first database, a list of a plurality of authentication databases from which users may be authenticated, the list including a protocol required for communication with each of the authentication databases, transmitting a request to each of the listed authentication databases using the identified protocol, and permitting the user access to the Internet through the Wi-Fi system if the user is authenticated by at least one of the listed authentication databases.

Abstract: Method, device, and storage medium to receive a request to authorize a release of protected resource data, wherein the request includes one or more indicators that indicate one or more instances of the protected resource data being requested; identify a sensitivity level for each indicator of the protected resource data; determine whether the one or more indicators of the protected resource data require consent from a resource owner of the protected resource data; transmit a request, to a user device associated with the resource owner, for consent from the resource owner in response to a determination that at least one of the one or more indicators require consent from the resource owner; generate an authorization code in response to receiving consent from the resource owner; and transmit, to the sending device of the request, the authorization code.

Abstract: A device may receive a first call associated with a virtual phone number associated with a first user device and a second user device. The device may determine, and may store information indicating, that the first call was made using the first user device. The device may receive a second call directed to the virtual phone number and may determine whether the second call comprises a call back associated with the first call. The device may selectively send the second call to the first user device or to the first and second user devices based on determining whether the second call comprises the call back. The second call may be sent to the first and second user devices when the second call does not comprise the call back and may be sent to the first user device when the second call comprises the call back.

Abstract: A method, performed by a computer device, may include receiving an indication that a first user has acquired rights to access a digital content; generating a key for the digital content; encrypting the digital content using the generated key to generate encrypted digital content; obtaining a first passcode; and providing the first passcode and the encrypted digital content to a user device associated with the first user. The method may further include receiving, from the user device, a request for the key, wherein the request include the first passcode; determining that the first passcode is valid; determining that the key has not expired; and providing the key to the user device, in response to determining that the first passcode is valid and that the key has not expired.

Abstract: A device configured to receive network topological information from devices in a private Internet Protocol (PIP) network receive network performance data from the devices; receive service topological information from a cloud; receive service performance data from the cloud; receive policies for determining optimum routes to the cloud from an administration device; apply the policies to the network topological information from the devices, the network performance data, the service topological information, and the service performance data to obtain routing rules; and forward the routing rules to a set of request routers.

Abstract: A device may provide information for a virtual reality environment to a virtual reality device. The virtual reality device may be operated by a first party. The device may determine that the first party of the virtual reality device is placing a call to a second party from within the virtual reality environment. The device may determine connection information associated with the first party and the second party. The device may cause the call to be established between the virtual reality device and a second party device associated with the second party via a telephone network using the connection information and without the second party device connecting to the virtual reality environment. The telephone network may be located external to the virtual reality environment. The second party device may connect to the telephone network without connecting to the virtual reality environment.

Abstract: Systems and methods for evaluating a proposed site for an RF transmitting structure are described. The system receives information relating to the proposed structure, and gathers additional data related to the inputs. The system calculates a conservative estimate of the spatially-averaged power density levels (in mW/cm2) a 6-foot human would be exposed to from electromagnetic fields produced by the RF transmitting structure at both the surface level and axis level for service antennas, and at the axis level for donor antennas. The system determines the total percentage of the maximum MPE limit that a 6-foot human would be exposed to at both the surface level and axis level for service antennas, and at the axis level for donor antennas. The system recommends compliance mitigation actions. The system generates a compliance record that includes an indication of whether the proposed site is approved, conditionally approved, or not approved, based in part on the percentages.

The processing unit is configured to receive configuration data that sets up multiple network interfaces on the device, and assigns one of multiple different network addresses to each of the multiple network interfaces, store the configuration data in the data table, execute a first type of application of the multiple different types of applications, receive one or more first packets from executing the first type of application of the multiple different types of applications, retrieve a first Virtual Private Network (VPN) identifier associated with a first VPN from the data table based on the first type of application of the multiple different types of applications, and send the one or more first packets via the first VPN identified by the first VPN identifier.

Abstract: A device may receive first common public radio interface (CPRI) information associated with a first CPRI format. The device may determine a translation key associated with the first CPRI format. The translation key may include information associated with translating the first CPRI information to a second CPRI format. The second CPRI format may be different from the first CPRI format. The device may generate second CPRI information based on processing the first CPRI information with the translation key. The second CPRI information may be associated with the second CPRI format. The device may provide the second CPRI information associated with the second CPRI format.

Abstract: A server device may store information identifying that one or more first user devices, currently connected to a network device via a particular band, should continue to communicate via the particular band when a connection threshold, associated with the particular band, has been exceeded. The particular band may be associated with a multicast service that provides multicast content to the one or more first user devices via the particular band. The server device may determine that the connection threshold has been exceeded; identify a second user device, currently connected to the network device via the particular band, that should no longer communicate via the particular band when the connection threshold has been exceeded disconnected; and prevent the second user device from communicating via the particular band based on determining that the connection threshold has been exceeded and identifying the second user device.

Abstract: A system includes a communication section communicably connected to a network, and configured to receive requests for data flows from user equipment attached to the network. The system may further include a flow path determination section configured to determine, for each data flow requested, an optimal signal path from among a plurality of potential signal paths based on substantially current characteristics of the potential signal paths and on characteristics of the data flow requested. The system may further include a command plane section configured to control routing of each requested data flow in accordance with the optimal signal path determined by the flow path determination section for the respective data.

Abstract: A device is configured to establish a session with a mobile device. The session may allow the mobile device to communicate with or via an operator network via the device. The device may determine a speed at which the mobile device is traveling. The device may determine a cell type for a neighbor base station. The cell type may indicate a type of cell that the neighbor base station services. The device may selectively hand over the session to the neighbor base station based on the speed at which the mobile device is traveling and the cell type for the neighbor base station.

Abstract: A user device collects timing data that indicates screen touch timing behavior during multiple touch events associated with at least one of a hold time for a particular button or a transition time between two particular buttons. The user device also collects force data indicating screen touch force behavior during the multiple touch events. The user device identifies a user biometric pattern for the touch event based on the timing data and the force data, and stores the user biometric pattern.
