Abstract: A downhole coupling mechanism for use in downhole tools that find application in wells exploited by a hydraulic refracturing process. The downhole coupling mechanism connects first and second tubular sections via a tensile load arrangement of wires located in complimentary grooves, a torque arrangement of interlocking lugs and notches on opposite ends, and a seal arrangement. The downhole coupling mechanism provides a thin walled coupling where a screw-threaded connection could not achieve the required tensile load, torque and sealing properties needed. Embodiments of a thin walled anchor and packer including the downhole coupling mechanism are described.

Abstract: A downhole anchor mechanism for use in downhole tools. The downhole anchor mechanism generally consists of a plurality of sliders that pivot outwardly from a downhole tool body to engage distal ends thereof against a well casing. The sliders are operatively engaged within faceted cavities associated with the tool body, which creates load components that act in a tangential direction, allowing a thin-walled tool body to withstand increased holding force.
Abstract: A frac plug with lower slips and a lower cone. In embodiments, a lower cone ramp angle is greater than or equal to a cone bevel angle and a slip inner cut angle. This geometry enables the fins of the cone to not interact with the lower slips, which may not break the lower slips as the lower slips move over the cone. Instead, the lower slips may break due to stresses caused by the tendency of the lower slips to expand as they lower slips interact with the ramp of the lower cone.
Abstract: A toe sleeve that is configured to allow communication between an inner diameter of the tool and an annulus outside of the tool during a bleed off cycle, which occurs after testing the casing. To test the casing, pressure within the inner diameter of the tool may be increased, and during a bleed off cycle the pressure within the inner diameter of the tool may be reduced.

Abstract: A temporary seal within a wellbore. More specifically, a temporary seal within casing that limits the flow of fluid through the casing until the temporary seal is released.
Abstract: An assembly and method of manufacturing an assembly for use as an isolation barrier to be run in and secured within a well. The assembly has a sleeve member positioned on the exterior of a tubular body, fixed at each end to create a chamber therebetween. Fluid can enter the chamber through a port in the tubular body to morph the sleeve member against a larger diameter surface in the well. The sleeve member is formed of at least two materials, welded together and machined before being arranged on the tubular body. One material is more expandable than the other so as to morph more easily. The sleeve is connected to the tubular body by screw threads and seals. Initial construction of the sleeve member allows welding, inspection and machining without affecting the tensile strength of the tubular body or complete assembly.

Abstract: An outer diameter of a mandrel with a recess to accommodate lower slips with a larger thickness, a sealing element with a concave outer diameter to control a pressure differential caused by a Bernoulli Effect across the sealing element, and a disc that is selectively secured to a housing via a removable shear pin, wherein shear pins with different pressure ratings may be inserted into the housing.
Abstract: A frac plug with a flapper positioned within a shearable housing. More specifically, embodiments are directed towards an upper portion of the shearable housing that is configured to be separated from an insert responsive to flowing back through the frac plug.
Abstract: A tool comprising a movable sleeve with an inner diameter, an outer diameter, and a screen. The screen being configured to filter materials flowing into a first port within the moveable sleeve, wherein the outer diameter of the movable sleeve is positioned adjacent to an inner diameter of the tool, wherein the screen is configured to move with the moveable sleeve. The tool further comprising a temporary member positioned on the inner diameter of the moveable sleeve, the temporary member being configured to temporarily cover an inner sidewall of the screen.

Abstract: A temporary seal may be configured to be initially positioned on a seal seat within casing, and be configured to be broken or disengaged by increasing the pressure within the inner diameter of the casing past a pressure threshold. Subsequent to the temporary seal being broken, a first portion of the temporary seal may remain on the seal seat while a second portion of the temporary seal may travel downhole through a landing collar. Then, cement may be pumped within the casing, followed by a wiper plug. The wiper plug may pass the seal seat, and be locked in place on the landing collar. The cement may cure and remaining portions of the temporary seal may dissolve.
Abstract: Interventionless testing casing within a wellbore to determine a location where the casing is leaking. Testing systems include a casing disconnect tool to receive an object, such as a ball, allowing for pressurizing to test a backside between new casing associated with the disconnect tool and older casing associated with a cased hole or open hole.

Abstract: A tool to remove portions of casing from a wellbore. A tool may include a bottom sub-assembly and casing that selectively detach from a sub-assembly. This may allow for tools and casing within the wellbore to be efficiently and effectively removed from the wellbore without having to cut tools down well.
Abstract: A tool with a deformable element that is configured to flex across an annulus based on a force being applied to an inner surface of the deformable element. The deformable element may be configured to be positioned within a chamber that is covered by a first rupture disc. The deformable element may include seals, flex joints, and a body.
Abstract: A frac plug with a flapper, wherein the flapper is configured to set and unset based on a pressure differential and/or fluid flow associated with the frac plug.
Abstract: A toe sleeve that is configured to disconnect from casing. More specifically, a toe sleeve that is configured to shear from casing creating a dynamic opening that does not get plugged.
