  • Patent number: 11943893
Abstract: An electronics equipment cabinet includes multiple cabinet walls defining an interior enclosure space for housing at least one electronic device, an outer wall positioned to shield from solar radiation an outer surface of at least one of the multiple cabinet walls, and at least one divider wall positioned between the outer wall and the cabinet wall to define first and second channels. The cabinet wall has two openings to allow internal cabinet air to flow between the interior enclosure space and the first channel, while inhibiting external ambient air from entering the interior enclosure space and the first channel. The outer wall has two openings positioned to allow external ambient air to flow through the second channel to cool the internal cabinet air in the first channel via heat exchange through the divider wall, while inhibiting the external cabinet air from mixing with the internal cabinet air.

  • Publication number: 20240088882
Abstract: An inverter control method, apparatus and device are provided, so as to solve the problem of risk of damage to switching devices in an inverter due to delays. The method includes: in a first switching period, determining a current change duration based on a time instant at which an inductor current in an inverter is equal to a first current threshold and a time instant at which the inductor current is equal to a second current threshold; determining a current change rate based on the current change duration, the first current threshold, and the second current threshold; reducing the first current threshold and the second current threshold if the current change rate is greater than a preset threshold; and controlling a switch by using the reduced current thresholds in a second switching period. In a case that the current rises rapidly, the current thresholds are reduced and the switch is controlled by using the reduced current thresholds in the next switching period.

  • Patent number: 11925006
Abstract: A cooling system can include a two-stage compressor, a variable speed fan and a controller for continuously modulating cooling capacity of the system. The compressor can run in a loaded state and the fan can run at a first speed when a call for cooling calls for maximum system cooling capacity. The compressor can run in the loaded state and the fan speed can decrease to a second fan speed as the called for cooling capacity decreases. The compressor can run in an unloaded state and the fan speed can be increased. The compressor can run in the unloaded state and the fan speed can decrease to a third fan speed as the called for cooling capacity decreases.

  • Patent number: 11611231
Abstract: An uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system with stranded power recovery has a plurality of UPS modules with one or more of the UPS modules usable to provide stranded power to a recovered power bus. When a UPS module is used to provide stranded power to the recovered power bus, the AC/AC converter associated with that UPS module provides AC power that is synchronized with AC power being provided to the recovered power bus by each of the other AC/AC converters that are providing AC power. In this manner all of the AC/AC converters that are providing AC power to the recovered power bus have the same voltage, the same frequency, and are in phase.

  • Patent number: 11489317
Abstract: An electrical/electronics power distribution cabinet is disclosed which includes internal components enabling the cabinet to be quickly and easily reconfigured for allowing all cabling to exit an upper end of the cabinet or a lower end of the cabinet. The cabinet includes fully isolated top and bottom panelboard circuit breaker areas and a movable internal wall portion that helps to form an isolated compartment to route electrical cabling within the interior area of the cabinet, while keeping the cabling associated with the two panelboard circuit breaker areas fully separate from one another. This enables access to one of the top or bottom panelboard circuit breaker areas for service or reconfiguration without the need to access the other.

  • Patent number: 11469575
Abstract: A power distribution cabinet is disclosed which includes multiple internal compartments for separating and channeling hot air generated by high heat generating components out of the cabinet without coming into contact with more heat sensitive components. The cabinet includes a baffle structure which forms an internal wall within the cabinet, which helps to form a high heat compartment and an upper compartment. The high heat compartment houses a heat generating component. Cool air is allowed to flow into a lower area of the cabinet and into the high heat compartment, and is also channeled into the upper compartment where at least one other heat generating component is located. The baffle structure channels hot air formed within the high heat compartment out toward a rear area of the equipment cabinet, while also helping to channel warm air created within the upper compartment through a top panel of the cabinet.

  • Patent number: 11395442
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an air handling system which has a fan supply section for intaking warm air from a room environment, and first and second indirect evaporative cooling subsystems (IDECs) spaced apart from one another to form an air plenum and a hot aisle in communication with the air plenum. The air plenum and the hot aisle are both formed between the IDECs, with the air plenum communicating with the fan supply section to receive the warm air. The IDECs receive the warm air and cool the warm air to produce first and second cooled airflows. The system also includes spaced apart cold aisles adjacent each of the IDECs for channeling the cooled airflows into an evaporator section. The evaporator section produces a final cooled airflow which is directed back into the room environment.

  • Patent number: 11368046
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a power supply management system adapted for use with at least one utility proxy power source, to help control powering a load when an AC mains power source is not available to provide power to the load. The system has a power converter forming an uninterruptible power supply, and includes a controller configured to control operation of the power converter. A supplemental battery subsystem is included which is in communication with the power converter for supplying DC power to the power converter. The controller monitors the application of power from the utility proxy to the load and uses the DC power supplied by the supplemental battery subsystem, when needed, to supplement the generation of power by the power converter, to thus assist the power converter in powering the load along with the power being provided by the utility proxy.

  • Patent number: 11249122
Abstract: The present system relates to a power topology mapping system for identifying which one of one or more equipment components are being powered from a specific phase of a multi-phase AC power source. The system makes use of a plurality of power receiving subsystems which each receive an AC power signal from at least one phase of the multi-phase AC power source. Each power receiving subsystem has a communications card, an identification designation unique to it, and a controller. One of the power receiving subsystems is designated as a reference power domain component. The controllers each carry out phase angle measurements associated with the AC power signal being received by its power receiving subsystem. A topology mapping subsystem is included which analyzes phase angle measurement data reported by the power receiving subsystems and determines which subsystem is being powered by which phase of the multi-phase AC signal.
