    Abstract: Wireless headphones include left and right earphones connected by a cable. Each of the left and right earphones comprising a generally C-shaped body adapted to fit behind the user's ear, with a concave inner edge, a convex outer edge, a first end that is positioned generally adjacent the top of the user's ear and a second end positioned generally adjacent the bottom of the user's ear when the body is positioned behind the user's ear. A speaker having a sound tunnel associated therewith adapted to fit in the ear canal of the wearer; a resilient support extending forwardly and downwardly from the top end of the C-shaped body, the support normally supporting the speaker in a position which, when the C-shaped body behind the user's ear, is misaligned with the user's ear canal, but resiliently deflects to allow the sound tunnel to align with and be inserted into the user's ear canal, thereby resiliently biasing the C-shaped body against the user's head.

    Abstract: A behind-the-ear mountable earphone includes a generally C-shaped ear support. The second section is in a plane different from the first section, so that when the first section is behind the user's ear, the second section extends over the front of the user's ear. An earphone is telescopingly mounted on the second end of the C-shaped support. The earphone comprising a generally circular face adapted to be received in the concha of the user's ear, the generally circular face disposed at an angle with respect to the first section of the generally C-shaped support.

    Abstract: An earphone is provided that includes a generally conical housing having generally circular front face adapted to be seated in the concha of the user's ear. The housing tapers away from the front face toward the rear of the housing. A wire guide extends from the rear of the housing, generally transversely to the axis of the housing. A speaker is disposed in the housing. A first resilient portion is disposed on the sidewall of the housing, opposite from the wire guide forming a first contact surface. A second resilient portion is disposed on the sidewall of the housing, opposite from the first resilient portion. The second resilient portion extends sufficiently circumferentially around the housing to form first and second contact surfaces disposed on opposite sides of the wire guide. The first, second, and third contact surfaces allowing the housing to be grasped between the thumb and two fingers of the user to facilitate insertion of the front portion of the housing into the user's ear.
