Abstract: An electronic E-cylinder is provided which is small in size and allows for connection to a ventilator cart having a standard yolk structure which is known in the medical industry for connection of standard E-cylinders. The machine may have oxygen output of up to 10 liters per minute at greater than 40 psig and desirably about 50 to 60 psig. Additionally, the electronic E-cylinder provides a plug and play removable filtering module to remove nitrogen from a compressed air flow and store concentrated oxygen while exhausting the filtered nitrogen to atmosphere.

At least one electronically controlled valve is in fluid communication with each of the first agent chamber and the second agent chamber and an oxygen source. The oxygen source is in fluid communication with each of the at least one electronically controlled valves.
