Abstract: The present invention relates to a bone-fixation anchor comprising a rigid expandable part and a soft part. The rigid expandable part secures the anchor with respect to the bone and the soft part enables the anchor to fit any bone screw on the market.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an expansible intravertebral implant system comprising an intravertebral implant (1) with an expandable anterior part (11), which is expansible in a vertebral body, and a posterior part; and a pedicle fixation (2) having at least one hollow portion for receiving the posterior part. The present invention also relates to said expansible intravertebral implant system additionally comprising a posterior element (3), arranged partially outside the vertebra and rigidly connected to the pedicle fixation (2), for serving as an anchoring point for at least one intravertebral rod or at least one system of artificial ligaments.
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for restoration of human or animal bone anatomy, which may include introduction, into a bone of an expansible implant capable of expansion in a single determined plane, positioning the expansible implant in the bone in order to correspond the single determined plane with a bone restoration plane and opening out the expansible implant in the bone restoration plane. A first support surface and a second support surface spread tissues within bone. The embodiments of the invention may also include injecting a filling material around the implant.
